Law.com CLE Center offers a CLE course based on my book, Women on Top, that gives 1.0 hour of MCLE credit in elimination of bias.  The course consists of a dialogue between Susan Kostal and me about the key points in the book.  During the program, Susan, an award-winning journalist who has covered legal affairs for more than 20 years, inquires about gender bias and other obstacles that continue to confront women who aspire to leadership.  I describe these obstacles, but more importantly, I offer various strategies women can employ to overcome them.  We also discuss the Hastings Leadership Academy for Women, and its success in preparing women partners to assume greater leadership roles in their firm.
